Boston University Men’s Club Ice Hockey is a proud member of the ACHA (D2) and competes in the Northeast Collegiate Hockey Association (NECHA).

The team plays roughly 20 games per season and competes against some of the best club teams in the country. For the most part, games are played in the Northeast area with the exception of one big road trip per season. In years past, the team has traveled to Colorado, Penn State and Florida Gulf Coast University.

Affectionately known as the “Pups” on campus, as well as the “Red Dogs”, the team plays home games at the historic Walter Brown Arena on BU’s campus.

  • Walter Brown Arena has served as the ancestral home of the BU Club Program for many years. We play most of our games and have all of our practices at this historic barn.

  • Tryouts typically happen during the first 1-2 weeks of the school year. Hit the contact page or keep an eye out on our social feeds for more information!
